Independent Jones is excited to present a full force rock show, with Makari and ALTRU to an ALL-AGES Bradenton audience. The show is the first of a series called “Ballroom Blitz” hosted at the Manatee Performing Arts Center on the second floor in the Kiwanis Ballroom.

Tickets are $5.00 in advance, or $7.00 at the door. Beer, wine, soda, water and snacks will be available for cash purchase.

The doors will open at 7:30 pm, and the show will go until 10:30 pm. ALTRU is a Pop Punk band of five guys from Bradenton, Florida. And headlining the night is Makari, a progressive rock band from Brandon, blending heartfelt lyrics with powerful melodies to create an infectious sound with which everyone can easily connect.

“It is our goal to bring significant bands to local crowds, and significant crowds to local bands”, said Wade Hamilton of Independent Jones. The Bradenton local music scene is alive and growing, and Independent Jones is working to bring it out of the small pockets of activity, and into venues like Manatee Performing Arts Center.
