Young inventors gather @ 7th Annual DaVinci’s Faire in Manatee County
Sarasota and Manatee Counties are not well known for their technology community, but you would never know it by visiting the 7th Annual BarCamp Un-conference and DaVinci’s Faire.
More than 600 people from across the gulf coast gathered at the Manatee Technical College to talk tech and show off their latest creations. Inspired by the inventions of Leonardo DaVinci, the annual makers conference is organized to highlight area innovators, connect technology enthusiasts, and empower young inventors.
Organized by Station 2 Innovation and sponsored by a number of local tech companies, the Un-conference aims to connect local creatives with each other and their community in an attempt to help push the gulf coast into the 21st century.
