All-American Cookout

Celebrate the 4th of July at beautiful Selby Gardens. Listen to live music, savor the All-American favorites, take part in a variety of family and children’s activities and enjoy the fireworks while overlooking Sarasota Bay!

Fireworks at Nathan Benderson Park

FANFARES & FIREWORKS will feature a variety of musical groups, an opportunity for families to picnic in the grass and a spectacular fireworks show.

The musical line-up includes The Greg Billings Band, a group with an expanded repertoire that include many soul and rhythm and blues classics. Albert Castiglia is an American blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. He made his professional debut in 1990 with Miami Blues Authority, but truly hit the international radar when Junior Wells invited him into his solo band for several world tours.

My Hometown Fest 2018

Join us for Southwest Florida’s biggest and best spring festival, featuring food, music, craft beer and fun for all ages.

“Hop in the Fire” with us on Monday, February 5th at Calusa Brewing when 10 local Chefs and the brewers at Calusa collaborate using fire, smoke, and Calusa beer.

Savor smokey lite bites by award winning Chefs Steve Phelps of Indigenous, Darwin Santa Maria of Darwin’s, Dani Bleil of Polpos, Mark Woodruff from Made, Evan Gastman from The Cottage, Mark Majorie from Veronica, Jose Rojas and Joey Egan from Louie’s Modern, Mouthole BBQ, Nancy’s BBQ and Paul Mattison of Mattisons, all prepared using a Calusa Brew in each entree. Guests will judge the best fire infused dish and the winning restaurant will take home a Big Green Egg…trust us, they all want it, who doesn’t! Calusa will stage the perfect setting with warm fire pit, hot tunes by DJ David Warren Curran and commemorative glasses for each attendee good for four Calusa brews. This is one night you don’t want to miss!

SRQ Club’s Music Fest

Join the Fun and Rock the Ranch at this year’s SRQ Club’s 2nd Annual Music Festival at the Old Oak Ranch.
Located on 65 acres with a private lake just East of Sarasota. This year’s festival will feature at least 6 bands, live jams, circus performers, and an open mic session under the stars with a “Burning Man” bonfire at the end of the night.

Enjoy hours of fun, food, great music, and dancing for all ages. Bring chairs, blankets and umbrellas.
Food & beverage trucks will be there, or bring your own!

General Admission is FREE and FREE Parking. Festival opens at 1 pm and rocks ‘til 11 pm. Tickets are not necessary to enter the Ranch.
