The 21st Annual Giving Hunger the Blues & Jazz on The Bay Festival will feature local, regional, and national musical talents on two stages. A full day of music, food, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Proceeds will benefit the Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program to help fulfill our mission of feeding the hungry and helping nurture or communities.

Sarasota’s Monthly Food Truck Rally

Come out and enjoy local beer, food, and music from people striving to add to Sarasota’s culture & the fast growing Food Truck community every month at JDub’s Brewing Company (1215 Mango Ave). The next rally is October 28th from 5-10pm, bring the whole family!

PARKING: Please park respectively and use space wisely. We will be posting a parking map and complete site map prior to event.
Parking is directed to 2 overflow lots at Lanning Tires (east right across Mango Ave) and Construction Supply (west on 12th Street, right behind the brewery). Please DO NOT parallel park in Construction Supply – we’ll be able to fit more cars parking slanted, thanks!

Main Street Live in Downtown Bradenton

This is downtown Bradenton’s most popular street party! Old Main Street (12th Street West) between Manatee and 3rd avenues is closed to vehicular traffic as vendors line the streets and live music plays throughout the night. The event starts around 5 p.m. and ends at 10 pm (except for NYE, which ends at midnight).

941 Food Truck Association #Irmastrong

The 941 Food Truck Association headed by Mouthole BBQ will be giving away free food with BulGoGi Sarasota, @outandaboutcoffee , Mother Truckin Good and Create bakery & gifts tomorrow at JDub’s Brewing Company & Tap Room at 2pm. We’re proud of our community and how people reached out to help one another during Hurricane Irma and we’d like to give a little something back. So anyone who needs a hot meal, cup of coffee or an awesome homemade cookie is welcome. We’d like as many law enforcement, EMT , Firemen, all 1st responders and utility tradesmen to come as they are the ones putting in the hard work to get us back together. We will try to feed as many as we can….but even if the food runs out come hang and use thisbas an oppurtunity to show some solidarity for our area. Special thank you to Jdubs for hosting us…and to Southern Sallys Bbq on Rt 70 for the sweet deal on the meat. We are happy to be a part of this community and even happier everyone for the most part came out unscathed. Come see us tomorrow.

The Sarasota-Manatee Originals Restaurant Week is your opportunity to try as many great locally owned restaurants in Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key, Sarasota, Siesta Key and Venice as your schedule allows. From October 2nd – 15th, the best area restaurants will be featuring specially priced breakfast, lunch and dinner prix fixe menu selections. Restaurant week is the perfect opportunity for food lovers to celebrate a special occasion, try out a new establishment, or simply enjoy a meal with friends and family all while supporting locally owned restaurants!

Eat Like a Local during Restaurant Week and try as many great locally owned restaurants as your schedule allows. Ever wondered about that restaurant you thought might be out of your price range? Eat Like a Local Restaurant Week is your chance to give it a try with the security of knowing exactly what you will be spending.

Restaurants will offer either:
Breakfast/Lunch: $9, $19, $29 two-course meal for one person.
Dinner: $19, $29, $39, $49 three-course meal for one person.

Reservations are made at each individual restaurant. Not every restaurant accepts reservations, so be sure to contact the restaurant if you are unsure.
