Get Out the Vote – Half Cent Sales Tax Informational Luncheon

After careful research and deliberation, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce is enthusiastically supporting both upcoming local sales tax referendums – the 1/2 Cent renewal for Manatee School District Capital Outlay and the 1/2 Cent for Manatee County Infrastructure.

We believe these funding sources are critical to the long-term success of our community and its quality of life.

Come hear from two past Chairmen of the Manatee Chamber’s Board of Directors – Mac Carraway and John Horne – about the two referendums, which both will be on the November ballot. There will be plenty of time for Q & A.

This event is $10 to attend and will be catered by Chicken Kitchen.

Reservations are necessary and must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, October 7. Cancellations after this date will be invoiced as guarantees have already been made on your behalf.

Join us for this Lunch with Leaders in partnership with the Manatee Young Professionals and Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. All lunches are from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM and Catered by: Pier 22 at the Kiwanis Hall at Manatee Performing Arts Center.

Guest speaker Congressman Vern Buchanan will be providing guests with a congressional update.
