Network & Learn – The Power of Podcasting & Your Business

Chris Krimitsos, Chief Creative Officer at Podfest Multi Media Expo, comes to Station 2 Innovation to share his expertise in Podcasting with our community. Become a fan of podcasts and take audio-on-demand seriously. They provide a steady flow of new ideas and inspiration, and are a great way to reach your audience at their desks and on the go. The upwards trend of audio-on-demand consumption is great if you’re positioned to take advantage of it. Niche-driven podcasts fuelled by passionate and enthusiastic experts have the power to hold your audience’s attention and keep them coming back to your messaging automatically when they subscribe. They’re also great for SEO with their own listing in iTunes (an alternate, yet powerful search index for audio). Learn to capture details and add people to your business mailing list, sharing with them your products and services.

Take what you learn from Chris and start your own podcast! Need further help or encouragement? Stop by the Station 2 Innovation Podcast Room and produce your own video/audio podcast to share with your audience.

About Chris: In 2008, Chris Krimitsos founded The Tampa Bay Business Owners, The Premiere Business Mastermind in Tampa Bay. At the time, he had been highly active in the local television and real estate markets. He was the Executive Producer of two shows, The Bleepin Truth and The Millionaire Mindset. The former was political in nature and the latter was economical and business focused. Between these two genres, Chris knew a plethora of people in the area and eagerly began connecting people, and He was very good at it. As his tenure at the TV station came to an end, Chris’ desire to connect and help people solidified into the mastermind organization… He later went back to his production roots and founded CK Productions to produce independent documentaries. To support other creatives Chris started Podfest Multi Media Expo an international conference for creatives. Individual podcasters travel all over the country/world to attend this amazing gathering of content creators.
