Cheers for Charity

Join HAMS at Calusa Brewing on April 15th in supporting Everyday Blessings, Inc.

Weeks ago HAMS members joined the talented brewers at Calusa and brewed up a lovely blonde wort. Members then took gallons of this liquid gold home and provided a variety of treatments. The result: a diverse variety of delicious beers for all palates.

Come on in to the Brewery, stop over at Everyday Blessings’ table, learn more about their mission: providing care for and keeping foster siblings together until they find their permanent home. We only ask you drop them a donation ($5-$10 suggested, but any amount is appreciated) or bring items from their wishlist. Then come on over and sample some beers!

Want to do more? Visit their web page to see the many ways you can help this wonderful organization care for children: http://www.everydayblessingsinc.org/donate/

My Hometown Fest 2018

Join us for Southwest Florida’s biggest and best spring festival, featuring food, music, craft beer and fun for all ages.

Enjoy free samples of regional food favorites prepared by more than 40 of the area’s finest restaurants, free craft beer samples from around the country — including Southwest Florida’s own Big Top Brewing Company, Darwin Brewing Company and Taproom, Motorworks Brewing and Naughty Monk Brewery — and lots of great music from top local bands, including Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio and the Dr. Dave Band.

Plus, we’ll have plenty of family-friendly activities like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kids Zone, stand-up paddleboard and kayak demos and lots more! The Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays are anticipated to be there as well!

Best of all, proceeds from My Hometown Fest support the charitable activities of Sertoma of Greater Sarasota and its Sertoma Kids, Inc. clinic. Both are registered 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that serve children and families with speech and language needs regardless of their ability to pay.

You get all this and more for the single price of admission, so buy your tickets today!

Hop In The Fire – Benefiting Tour De Cure

Hop In the Fire Event – Benefiting the “Tour De Cure Edible Sarasota Team”

“Hop in the Fire” with us on Monday, February 5th at Calusa Brewing when 10 local Chefs and the brewers at Calusa collaborate using fire, smoke, and Calusa beer.

Savor smokey lite bites by award winning Chefs Steve Phelps of Indigenous, Darwin Santa Maria of Darwin’s, Dani Bleil of Polpos, Mark Woodruff from Made, Evan Gastman from The Cottage, Mark Majorie from Veronica, Jose Rojas and Joey Egan from Louie’s Modern, Mouthole BBQ, Nancy’s BBQ and Paul Mattison of Mattisons, all prepared using a Calusa Brew in each entree. Guests will judge the best fire infused dish and the winning restaurant will take home a Big Green Egg…trust us, they all want it, who doesn’t! Calusa will stage the perfect setting with warm fire pit, hot tunes by DJ David Warren Curran and commemorative glasses for each attendee good for four Calusa brews. This is one night you don’t want to miss!

Thank you to our partners and Sponsors:
Niman Ranch, The Big Green Egg, Calusa Brewing, Edible Sarasota Magazine, Indigenous, Hitched & Honey
