Before joining UCF in the spring of 2010, Bowie was Executive Director of the Columbus Regional Technology Incubator, operated by the University System of Georgia. Jim has more than 20 years of experience in business development including AT&T, Orkin Exterminating Company and four entrepreneur start-ups. He is on the Board of the St. Cloud/Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Kissimmee Area Council of the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce & the Florida Business Expo.
